Dhyana nd Yoga

Almost everyone has experienced that when the source of his mind to focus immediately on the object or an 'idea, the mind starts to wander. It 'very hard to keep your mind busy with a common idea. Ancient sages the same problems too.

Arjuna, Gita said that the mind control is something impossible on earth. Therefore, it was advised by Krishna that even if the mind control is difficult, it can be easy to practice regularly and vairaagya abhyasa. However, he warned that yoga is very difficult for people whose minds are not stable and controlled.

Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras, said these two grades to gain control of the mind. So, these are the features that make the essence of yoga.

The mind is like a pond disturbed by many impurities. You must first stop the flow of fresh earth, remove impurities existing clean mind. Abhyasa is one of the practices of purification of the mind. Dhyana is a Abhyasa practices. It's a step that the person who came after practicing for a while to concentrate.

At the beginning of dhyana, the mind is more stable and a thought in one object appears in the mind. It is now safe to say that the state of dhyana is reached. Here, the mind becomes very stable as the flame of a lamp in an atmosphere of tranquility and contact with the object of the experience is intense and complete.

There are two varieties of dhyana and called sagunadhyana nirgunadhyana. In the first dhyana, the silence of the mind associated with the object of experience, which can be experienced through the sense organs.

The other is completely mental. It involves the complete absorption of the mind itself. Here the spirit is not associated with an external object. It becomes absolutely still in this state.

This spirit is supposed to remain silent, calm and sensitive that it can include any past, present and future events could have happened anywhere in the universe.
